By means of its strong magnetic field and radio waves, the magnetic resonance tomograph produces an image of your body. Using this technology, sectional images can be made of virtually all parts of the body, in any direction.

The magnetic field has no known harmful effects, so examinations can be repeated at relatively short intervals without misgivings. MRT is therefore highly suitable for preventive examinations.
